USA Visa Appeal for Ghanaians – How to Challenge a Refusal in 2025
Every year, many Ghanaians apply for visas to the United States. Sadly, a large number are refused under 214(b) (not proving strong ties) or 212(a) (inadmissibility or misrepresentation).
A refusal does not always mean the end of your journey. With the right legal support, you may be able to file an appeal, motion, or re-application to increase your chances of success.
Common Reasons for USA Visa Refusal in Ghana
- Not proving strong family or financial ties in Ghana
- Missing or weak supporting documents
- Errors in completing the DS-160 or forms
- Past immigration breaches
- Misrepresentation (intentional or unintentional)
What a USA Visa Appeal Means
An appeal is the process of challenging a refusal decision. Depending on the situation, I will advise you on the best course of action.
